Contemporary Family Garden, West Berkshire

We were asked to produce a masterplan design for a large rural property. The clients wanted to create a striking contemporary garden and outdoor living space which they can enjoy with their young children, family and friends throughout the year.

The proposed scheme features extensive views out to architectural features leading the eye around the expansive garden, creating "Garden rooms" with connecting paths encouraging a journey around the garden.

A large entertaining area with outdoor kitchen, casual seating, space for dinning along with a Party Barn provide a "wow factor", perfect for impressing guests and entertaining.

A swimming pool with space for sun loungers borders a large lawn with generously sized planting borders. A kitchen garden, circular fire pit seating area and timber pergola walkway provide additional seating areas and interest around the garden.

Planting includes; swathes of naturalistic grasses and perennials, pleached trees and evergreen domes of various sizes for interest all year-round, multi stem trees add some height interest.
