Large Contemporary Garden, Wiltshire

To compliment the contemporary style of this house, we were asked to produce a landscape plan for the large wrap around garden that would allow this family to spend time outdoors, enjoying the rural setting.

The existing site consists of a large sloped lawn with shrub borders. To make the space more usable terracing has been introduced using a combination of new oak sleepers and raised Corten Steel panels. For uniformity these materials have also been proposed for the front garden, creating planting beds on different levels.

A large porcelain entertaining area that wraps around the house creates space to dine with family and friends. While a secondary decked seating area at the top of the garden enables the 360 degree rural views to be enjoyed.
